Up and Running!

I decided that now is as good a time as any to get this blog going so we can share our house renovation experience with everyone!  I’m really excited about this blog and about all the projects that I am working on and have planned.  We moved into our “new” house on March 31st, 2010 and have been hard at work getting things unpacked and organized, not to mention tearing things out at the same time.  The first thing on my list was to get down all the dusty, lacy curtains and the blue and gold wallpaper in the living and dining room.   Those are both checked off the list and the nasty wallpaper glue has been removed (may sound easy, but it’s not!), and we are now removing the 30 year old carpet that covered the floor in those two rooms.   I’ll post some pics soon of the progress we’re making in the living and dining room and of the hardwood floors we found underneath the carpet.
